Long drive for me and it was just supposed to be a simple swap.

I just shot an email over to Ross-Tech to see if I can get some insight.

Gotcha, well go to Hazelwood, take the extra 20 minutes to drive up there and get it taken care of.

Sounds to me like a trip to Bommarito of Hazelwood to buy an R32..

Dean Team is just trying to **** you (not in the good way).
I wouldn't have admitted to them to being chipped then they would look like a bunch of asshats.
Just take your money to a reputable shop AKA Bommarito (either one)

Lil update/advice...talked to kevin and the short version is...we'll see. The advice part is that no matter what, even just to have it looked at, if your car is modded take it to Bommarito. VW is telling dealerships to report VIN, names, and mods of all cars they see. If its flagged your kinda f*cked, which is where I'm at now.

The good news is that its not a huge issue but just f*cking annoying. Also started talking to him about getting an .:R......and yes the wifes not that happy

Technically VW dealers have had the ability to flag cars with mods for a while, however a recent policy change a month or so ago is pressuring dealers to actully use this functionality now.
Sux you got flagged =\

Should be even more reason to get the R now

the vehicles may be flagged but individual dealers do not always check the system for flags.

LOL @ Pete! I still love the gli damn it! But I am talking to kevin about the .:R. Gonna meet up with him when I get back in town.

Also I need a favor from anyone that is registered with ross-tech. I shot them an email but their tech support requires you purchase from them. But they have offered to help me if they get the communication from someone who is registered. They ask that I send a full scan...auto scan using version 10.6. Anyone have that? If so mind helping me out next week?

At this point I want to get it fixed as an f u to dean team more than anything.
